What a MAN?

Time will only tell when that man is for me & is he worth the risk of giving my heart to. Get to know me and explore the possibilities. Don’t bore me with your chatter of how big your rims are on your whip, about how much $$ you have because all I want to know is do you have a retirement plan, a savings, a Roth IRA, a portfolio, life insurance & do you pay child support? I’m self-sufficient sure I love roses, jewelry and all but can you care for me when I have a cold? Would you comb my hair if I couldn’t? Would you wash my car without me asking? What substance do you have? What are you actively pursuing & committed to?
It’s time to stop being tempted by the external & dig deeper.

As time goes on and I grow and mature I realize the external is so temporal. Sure he looks HOT..but can he hold a conversation? Can he make me laugh? Does he vote? Does he love his mother but have boundaries (not such a momma’s boy that she makes his decisions)? Is he a MAN?? You know a Mature Adult Nurturing a true relationship with GOD!! Is he intimate with GOD? Does he have children and if so is he a FATHER? You know Faithful to his word, Available for fieldtrips, when they are sick, when they need to talk, or just some QT, he is Totally committed to seeing them become upstanding Christians and fishermen/woman of men/women, Honorable & Honest he knows how to treat women even his ex & he tells the truth no matter who it may hurt, an Encourager someone who can see the light in any situation and bring out the best in you, he is Eager to love and show it, and lastly he is REAL no fakers here! WOW what a MAN!!
