Do you know more than GOD? Of course, you don't it would be foolish to even think our small minds could get on his omnipotent level! We are going to study JOB 38 over the next couple of weeks line by line and verse by verse. I will provide you with three different translations of the verses. Let's begin with JOB 38 verse 1-3!
Job 38 (New International Version)
The LORD Speaks
1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the storm. He said:
2 "Who is this that darkens my counsel
with words without knowledge?
3 Brace yourself like a man;
I will question you,
and you shall answer me.
Job 38 (The Message)
God Confronts Job
Have You Gotten to the Bottom of Things?
1 And now, finally, God answered Job from the eye of a violent storm. He said:
2-11 "Why do you confuse the issue?
Why do you talk without knowing what you're talking about?
Pull yourself together, Job!
Up on your feet! Stand tall!
I have some questions for you,
and I want some straight answers.
Job 38 (King James Version)
1Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
2Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
3Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
This word literally goes down to the core of my very soul.

God is faithful & just!! I literally realize that I'm not GOD in any shape form or fashion. My thoughts are not his thoughts nor his ways my ways...but I desire to do God's will above all else. No matter how hard it becomes I will hold on NO MATTER WHAT!! In spite of our sins God isn't caught by surprise but full of grace & mercy. He knows my beginning to my end! I need to be quiet and stop talking so much and get in this word and feed my spirit.
